You'd be better off talking to a wall. Honestly, I just want to see a lot
more transparency around how someone qualifies for asylum and how we manage that process. Even that would be a start. We're using laws from the Cold War to manage something entirely different, and it isn't even clear how we're applying them.
Having more people waiting in Mexico and increasing the capacity to process those seeking (and rapid deportations of those that don't quality) would also be good. But we passed on that opportunity a few weeks ago when the idiots in Congress reneged on the deal they negotiated from a position of strength. I've been saying it for a while - they want something to complain about, couldn't care less about really addressing the issue. Feckless.
